ABOUT ST ALBANS SPORTS CLUB


WHO ARE WE

We are a community based Sports Club that is focused on supporting local schools, family and the community itself. With our very own home grown local Football (The Saints) and Cricket Team (St Albans Cricket Club).

Where there's something here for everyone.

The Sports Club consist of:

• A dynamic and delicious Bistro serving up all your classic pub favorites and weekly specials

We also have our Club Café for all your grazing needs

• A separate Tab where serious punters come to play

Except for Saturday, where we open at 10:00am


• We also have KENO facilities and air the latest Sky Sports, Fox Footy & Fox Sports for all major sporting events (For all the latest sporting events being aired, check the “What’s New” section)


• A separate and private Function Room for hire. Ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and even the occasional wedding

The Sports Club itself is open at 9:00am to 12:00am everyday and 1:00am on Friday and Saturdays.


WHY DO WE EXIST

The St Albans “Sports Club” was established in 1984 after The St Albans Cricket Club and St Albans Football club required a permanent space to train and play. First staring out with what the regulars would have called “A Shed” has quickly grown to the establishment we are today.

Here at St Albans Sports Club we truly believe in the power of community. With already supporting community groups like FIDA (Football Integration Development Association, Scoop (a not-for-profit organization that supports people with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities) and local schools, we also help connect our club members with one another. For example a handful of our local members own their own businesses, so as a community club we help connect others with someone we know that could help them out with a service, product or other.

On top of that, we are always looking for other local projects and community groups to support. So if you’re a local or community group that needs help in raising awareness or something else, get in contact with us to see if we can help.

We also have a newly renovated Bistro/Function Room seating more than 85 people for a three-course sit down dinner, as well as a Member’s Lounge where the locals love to sit and chat with friends, family and meet new people.
