SIM Australia 3.09

We facilitate missionaries from anywhere to everywhere, working in an almost unlimited range of ministries. We partner with churches worldwide to encourage them to get involved in Mission by praying, giving or going.

SIMaid is the aid and development arm of SIM Australia. It is registered as a charitable trust and facilitates tax-deductible donations to qualifying aid and development projects supported by our missionaries and ministry partners.

* We seek to follow the teaching and example of Jesus Christ in offering practical help to communities in poverty.

* We direct resources into sustainable aid and development projects in partnership with local communities to empower them to live with dignity and hope.

* We support projects providing clean water, sustainable agriculture, vocational training, income generation, health care and community transformation.

* We also support initiatives aimed at prevention and care for people with HIV/AIDS, and we reach out to the most vulnerable through projects for HIV/AIDS orphans, sex-trafficking victims and people with disability.

*We inspire and equip Australians to respond to these needs by raising awareness and financial support.

SIM Australia aims to ensure that 85% of each dollar donated to SIMaid projects is directed to the field.
