The X2 Adventure ride is a great way to see the park and it’s no ordinary tour, it’ll have you and your Segway going cross country! Suitable for any skill level, even beginners can learn how to navigate a bunch of exciting obstacles whilst exploring a beautiful grassy area of Sydney Olympic Park.

The adventure ride gives you 50 hectares to explore and the terrain you will tackle includes paths, flat grassed areas and even some hills. Obstacles include going down flights of stairs, driving in and out of ditches, zipping down hills and weaving in and out of cones. The X2 Adventure Ride is the most popular Segway tour at Sydney Olympic Park and runs every weekend.

Situated between the southern bank of the Parramatta River and the former Olympic Village that’s now the desirable suburb of Newington, the site is a restricted area with limited public access. You can access the Armory though on a Segway, between 10am and 4pm.

If driving to your Segway Tour, Newington Armory is accessed via the end of Jamieson Street (off Holker Street), with free parking available at Blaxland Riverside Park. If on foot or bike, it can be accessed from the Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf or Silverwater via a pleasant and easy walk or bike ride along the River Walk. Or take the hillside walk from Hill Road along the Louise Sauvage pathway.
