SeaSpray is our funky family beach house that we have lovingly renovated in Broken Head - metres walk from some of the best surf breaks in the area - near Byron Bay.

It's a large, 4 bedroom home ideally suited to a big family or two families who wish to holiday together. It is also ideal for 2 or 3 couples who wish to have their own space and yet enjoy the large entertaining areas to share.

You enter via a private driveway to a LOCK-UP GARAGE that houses two cars. It's also where we keep our surfboards, boogie boards, golf clubs and ping pong table for your enjoyment. If you are a believer in the mantra 'don't judge a book by it's cover' then you'll love SeaSpray because on the outside... well... how can we put it? She's no oil painting. A classic 70's brick mansion but on the inside - woohoo!

Up a flight of stairs from the garage is the HOME THEATRE/RUMPUS ROOM where an enormous projector and screen, video games (PS3), old-school board games (like Boggle) and bean bags make it the perfect place for the kids to pass the time when the sun goes down or for the whole family at any time of day should the weather turn feral.

Opposite you will find the GROM ROOM with 2 x bunk beds to accommodate up to 4 future world champs. Up a flight of stairs brings you to the open plan ENTERTAINER'S KITCHEN (the owner has been a food writer and restaurant reviewer for the past 12 years), 10-SEATER DINING TABLE, and large open LOUNGE.

Outdoors there is an UNDERCOVER DECK with Weber BBQ and Balinese day bed where you can view the iconic Cape Byron Lighthouse. Skip a few more steps up and you'll find BEDROOM #2 with 2 x king singles, a LAUNDRY with washing machine and dryer, separate TOILET and BATHROOM (with separate shower and bath), children's READING NOOK and BEDROOM #3 complete with Queen size visco-elastic mattress (memory foam) with it's own ensuite.

Heading up to the top floor is the MASTER BEDROOM with King size bed, ensuite and through a connecting door, UPSTAIRS LOUNGE. In this room there is a special nook that is set up as a CRECHE complete with cot. From this top level the views are glorious, you can see the ocean sweep all the way to Cape Byron headland and across to the hinterland beyond.

N.B. There is air conditioning in the Media Room and kitchen/lounge only. All other bedrooms (excluding Grom Room) have ceiling fans.
