Dogs are allowed both inside and outside the premises, but of course we would appreciate that you always keep them off the bed! There is a beautiful dog friendly beach close by – so your dog can enjoy the luxury of a beach holiday with you.

Sandy Bay Chalet is conveniently located close to many of Hobart’s main attractions. A few minutes drive to Hobart CBD, the famous Salamanca Market, which operates every Saturday morning, and the Derwent River. There are many restaurants close by, and Wrest Point Casino is just minutes away. The historic Battery Point is a must see.

The nearby village of Sandy Bay has everything you need. There are ATM’s, Banks, a Post Office, doctors surgery, chemists, supermarkets, clothing and gift boutiques, shoe shops, a variety of restaurants, take aways and cafes, bakery, butcher shops, fish mongers, hotels, bottle shops, hairdressers, news agency and service stations.
