Rovers Grooming Salon offers a wide range of cruelty-free grooming services for your dog. Whether your Poodle needs pampering or your Shih-Tzu needs a little bit of style you’ve come to the right place. Run by Annette and Lexie, we pride ourselves on operating a welcoming and friendly grooming salon, where your pet loves to come in and be fussed over for the day!

Our full groom service is our most popular option. Your pet is lathered up using a shampoo especially formulated for his or her skin and rinsed off with nice warm water. They are then carefully blow dried ready for their haircut. We will then give them their new haircut, anywhere from our popular and low maintenance Smoothy cut to a breed specific cut as requested by you. Your pets’ hair cut is tailored to your preference and your dogs’ requirements. Their nails are then trimmed, ears are plucked and cleaned and they are finished off with a spritz of cologne.

Is your Golden Retriever, Border Collie or other double coated breed shedding their undercoat like crazy? We offer an Undercoat Strip as an alternative to shaving your pets coat off. Your dog is bathed with a shampoo especially formulated for his or her skin, and then blow dried using a high velocity pet dryer, stripping all the loose undercoat from the coat. We then get to work with the brushes, getting even more of that pesky undercoat out. A trim of the nails, cleaning of the ears and a spritz of cologne and your previously wooly pet emerges all shiny, smelling divine and shedding much less hair all over your furniture.

What about the more “rough-and-ready” low maintenance breeds such as Staffies and Jack Russells? We offer a simple Hydro Bath and towel dry service on a Friday afternoon from 1pm to 3pm. Your pet is hydro bathed in your choice of shampoo, rinsed off, towel dried and sprayed with cologne. All ready to get back to business. For those more pampered pooches who wouldn’t dare be seen leaving the salon wet there is the option to make an appointment for a Bath and Blow Dry during normal grooming hours.

Is your dog a little bit too cool for school? Has its own rock and roll personality and needs a stylin’ haircut to match? Special request haircuts can be done. From Mohawks to Pom Poms, come in and speak to our groomers! Funky hair colouring using quality DYEX pet-safe hair dyes is available to finish off your pets individual look. Vibrant colours and completely permanent, this look is for the adventurous and fun dog.
