Whether it be 3 days or 3 months The Cape York camper is regarded as one of the best hard floor camper trailers ever built in Australia; these campers are purposely designed for off road use. This was the main reason in choosing the Cape York camper as our preferred hire campers. Constructed of marine grade aluminum and stainless steel on a tough galvanized chassis the campers weigh in at only 1300kg. The design boasts a ball weight of 60kg this means that you do not require a 4WD to tow the trailer. We offer two versions of Cape York Campers one is an off grid off road evolution extreme series and the other explorer extreme series with modification to enable mains power connection or generated power throughout the camper. This allows for touring and Caravan Park stays if desired. We also have Gecko soft

Rough Country Campers is one of only a handful of hire companies that have few restrictions on where you can take the campers, these restrictions are listed in the hire agreement or upon request. All equipment is clean and serviceable for the application designed. All campers are in roadworthy condition and are part of a scheduled maintenance program and are also fully insured which includes public liability.

Always ask to see any hirers insurance letter of currency before taking possession of the equipment
