Online Retail Redesigned for Australian Small Businesses

A team from Tasmania is working on a new Online Retail platform that will change the way ecommerce for small business is done in Australia.

RetailCurves Ecommerce is a revolutionary new online retail platform designed specifically for Australian small businesses who are ready to start their business online for the first time or those who are wanting a better way to run their existing business.

The platform’s goal is to ultimately give the Australian small business owner back their personal time, increase their businesses potential for growth, and be a catalyst for their business progress in the massively growing Australian online retail market place.

Through unique automation and techniques never seen before in small business online retail systems, Australian small business owners using the RetailCurves Ecommerce platform will have the power to out-perform, out-manoeuvre and compete on customer service, service quality & delivery rivalling big e-tailers like Amazon and e-bay.

It’s long been declared that Australian small business is the engine room of Australia however the tools available for small business in Australia for online retail, although easy to use, quick to get going and relatively cheap to subscribe to, often leave the small business owner struggling to work out how to grow their business and manage the administration of multiple new systems that they’ve been told they must now use.

Even the massive players in the ecommerce platform place like Shopify.com & Magento admit that small businesses in Australia that want to run their businesses using their platforms will need additional systems and additional paid services to manage processes like inventory, suppliers and even point of sale.

RetailCurves Ecommerce is the system designed for small business owners that combines an awesome front end online retail experience for customers who are purchasing products and also incorporates inventory, supply chain management, point of sale and integrations with major service providers like Australia Post (eParcel), Google (Marketing, Adwords) and many more.

Using the power of Open Source software RetailCurves Ecommerce has already passed several early stage prototypes, the first public version is scheduled for release in the first half of 2017 and will be free for Australian business owners to download and use due to the funding model being used to fund the remainder of the development.

With over $250,000 already invested into the project from private investors they are seeking to raise a further $400,000 to get the platform ready for its public release in 2017.

Funding will be raised from two key areas, a Crowd Funding campaign will be launched in April 2016 seeking to raise $200,000 and the remainder $200,000 from government grants, incubator programs and corporate sponsorship from key partner businesses that operate in Australia and are focused on the small business space.

This funding model will enable the team at RetailCurves to complete this project and make the platform open and free to download and use.

RetailCurves Ecommerce wants all Australian small business owners to finally have the systems and assets to help them achieve business success in an increasingly digital retail world.
