We have some news about the markets. We have had a fantastic almost 2 years of Redfern Night Markets and during this time we’ve encountered many memorable moments and forged many fantastic friendships along the way. The market was a project initially created by a local resident with the intention to counteract negative publicity and sensationalism that had impacted our social misrepresentation. The vision for this project was to create a positive and inclusive night space showcasing our local creative’s and providing insight to our welcoming, inclusive community of Redfern and Waterloo.

Officially announcing that RNM will no longer operate at a monthly capacity. The RNM concept will be simplified and move into the direction of producing short term markets and events that focus on cultural, multicultural, diverse and urban concepts. The Redfern Night Market will return in 2017 as an annual event. We’ve had a great time and on behalf of the team, thank you for being part of the RNM movement. It has been a fantastic experience from day one. See you all soon!
