Although we still focus on young people about to leave school and cater for their special needs and interests our age criteria for for clients is 18-65yrs.

Although, we at R.O.P.E have developed to a highly skilled professional incorporated association, with some funding from dept of communities Disability Services Queensland, we pride ourselves on our kitchen table roots and those early years when parents of children with disabilities and not professional standards drove us to learn through the skin importance of an individual - focused service where each persons unique skills, abilities talents and interests were recognised and fostered in an atmosphere of family and friendship.

Our centre is staffed by professional support workers, who are people who continue to understand that ROPE needs to be a home away from home where the quality of learning is enhanced by the quality of relationships between the individual.

We continue our inherited core values. We focus on the individual and work to provide choices and opportunities to develop new program's to ensure each persons gift, skills, abilities are developed as extensively and inclusively as possible and where possible, to meet the clients and their families aspirations for the most fulfilling life possible.


Life Skills programs available -
Advanced life and living skills to aid everyday independence, decision making and access to the community; giving young people with an intellectual disability the chance to choose their own path in life.
