I believe every individual is unique; we all have our own story of who we are and how we got to where we are now. There are many reasons why people come to counselling, grief and loss, unresolved pain and issues from the past holding you back, stress and anxiety or a general feeling of dissatisfaction with life just to name a few.
Coming to counselling in itself isn’t a magic pill, it’s what we do together in partnership that will make the difference. I will honour your story, help you to identify what is and isn’t working for you in your life and or relationships and together we will set goals that will enable you to move forward to greater fulfilment and happiness.
Just as we eat well and exercise to look after our physical health it is vital that we look after our emotional health. Coming to counselling is the gift you give yourself when you need some support to gain new skills, learn how to look at things in a more positive and productive way or sometimes just to be in a safe place to talk things through and catch your breath.
My home based counselling practice is a great joy to me and it would be my honour to be a comfort to you and support you as you continue your journey of personal growth and become your best self.
