Ed Bowden began producing quality stakes and pegs in 1989. Ed found that existing products available at the time were of a standard that identified opportunities for producing a better product. Together with other family members, they have a combined 75 years experience in the surveying, building, mining and nursery industries, working together to provide a future for their children and families.

Recently trading as Qld Survey Pegs P/L (QSP), they were one of the first supplier’s to pioneer the Long Points and Smooth Stakes. Ed, Andrew and Dave Bowden, along with Barry Rowsell have combined their resources to provide a continually improving service, their aim to be the fastest & most reliable supplier of quality stakes and pegs in the marketplace. Today, QSP supply quality stakes and pegs to many wholesalers and retailers, local authorities, government departments, survey companies, road construction companies, nurseries, landscapers, builders and the mining industry.

Qld Survey Pegs is an environmentally friendly company, using sustainable timber from the downfall from various mills (downfall is usually burned or chipped). Preference is given to mills that cut from hardwood plantation farms.
