As the name eludes, our motel is nestled on Mackay’s pristine coastline, only a few minutes’ walk to the popular golden sand of Town Beach. Sunrise strolls here are magical, as the sun rises from behind the islands of the Great Barrier Reef.

Opening for business in July, 2014, we are Mackay’s newest motel, boasting a modern and chic exterior, while above-average furnishings and luxuries can be found within. Every room has the comfort of a king-sized bed to assure a comfortable sleep. Twin bedding configurations are also available.

Each room has modern flat-screen televisions, and we are the only motel in Mackay to offer 20 Foxtel channels, including free movie and sports channels. Modern split-system air conditioners allow you to finely tune your own ambience, for a comfortable temperature year-round.

Our 24-hour check-in service allows you to take your time to arrive, and we offer free WIFI to all guests, to help you stay connected with loved-ones during your travels. Two laundry rooms are available for guests to use, with the added bonus of ice machines.

Our capacity and spacious car park allows us to cater to bus groups, wedding parties, corporate groups and sports teams. Our extra-spacious, deluxe king room includes an additional sofa-bed, and is the perfect space for a bridal party to prepare for the big day together.
