Welcome to the Perth City Swimming Club's official Facebook page!

Perth City formed in July 2012 when the City of Perth and Lawley Aquatic Swimming Clubs joined forces. The new club benefits from the rich heritage of the oldest club in WA and the third oldest club in Australia, the support of Perth College school, as well as the success of its current top level International, National and State swimmers. This success is testament to the nurturing culture at the Club, the infrastructure support provided by Perth College, the perseverance and hard work of the athletes, and the dedication of our coaching team.

Lawley Aquatic Swimming Club was based in Mount Lawley at the Perth College pool. The club was first established in 1981 under the name of Guildford Grammar. The club's initial aim was to cater for the swimming athletes between the two school communities. As the club developed in numbers and recognition a name change was initiated in 2001 to the club now known as Lawley Aquatic.

The City of Perth Swimming Club was founded in 1923. When the clubs merged City of Perth was Western Australia’s oldest swimming club. The club was originally based at Crawley Baths in the Swan River. It is here that the ‘club days’ as we know them were held for the members.
