Formerly known as Parallax Dance Company, PARALLAX PERFORMING ARTS officially renamed itself in 2017 to better encapsulate the wide array of programs that the school offers, and to enable our students to access a more well-rounded and performance-focused training.

Officially established in May 2007 as Parallax Dance by Artistic Director Jordan Punsalang, it has since independently produced numerous full-length dance productions and singing showcases.

Alumni and present members of the company have landed lead roles in various professional musical theatre productions (The Bodyguard, Alladin, Peter Pan Panto, Matilda, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Les Miserables, Cats, Carmen, Anything Goes, Dirty Dancing, We Will Rock You, Sweet Charity, 25th Annual Putnamn County Spelling Bee, etc.) ; been cast in professional shows (corporate, cruise lines, film and tv) ; passed the rigorous auditions in VCASS, WAAPA and VCA ; been accepted in full-time dance schools, and forged their own professional careers either as a dance teacher, a choreographer or a dancer in Australia and overseas.

Parallax members have also done various community projects, SplashDance Festivals, Short Circuit series and local theatre productions.
