WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

Management is firmly committed to a policy enabling all work activities to be carried out safely, and with all possible measures taken to remove (or at least reduce) risks to the health, safety and welfare of workers, contractors, authorised visitors, and anyone else who may be affected by our operations. We are committed to ensuring we comply with the Work Health and Safety Act 2012, the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2012 and applicable Codes of Practice and Australian Standards as far as possible.
Will provide and maintain as far as possible:
a safe working environment
safe systems of work
plant and substances in safe condition
facilities for the welfare of workers
information, instruction, training and supervision that is reasonably necessary to ensure that each worker is safe from injury and risks to health
a commitment to consult and co-operate with workers in all matters relating to health and safety in the workplace
a commitment to continually improve our performance through effective safety management.



ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

We believe that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner. We are therefore committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods. It is our priority to encourage our customers, suppliers and all business associates to do the same. Not only is this sound commercial sense for all; it is also a matter of delivering on our duty of care towards future generations.

Our policy is to:
Wholly support and comply with or exceed the requirements of current environmental legislation and codes of practice.
Minimise our waste and then reuse or recycle as much of it as possible.
Minimise energy and water usage in our buildings, vehicles and processes in order to conserve supplies, and minimise our consumption of natural resources, especially where they are non-renewable.
Operate and maintain company vehicles (where appropriate) with due regard to environmental issues as far as reasonably practical and encourage the use of alternative means of transport and car sharing as appropriate.
Apply the principles of continuous improvement in respect of air, water, noise and light pollution from our premises and reduce any impacts from our operations on the environment and local community.
As far as possible purchase products and services that do the least damage to the environment and encourage others to do the same.
Assess the environmental impact of any new processes or products we intend to introduce in advance.




QUALITY POLICY

It is the policy of OZW CONSTRUCTIONS PTY LTD that all of our activities are carried out in accordance with our business management system. The OZW CONSTRUCTIONS PTY LTD business management system manual sets out the organisation and arrangement of the groups management systems. The business management system contains all the procedures and associated documentation to manage and control our business and is available to all staff.

The aim of our quality management system is to ensure that:

Our customer’s requirements have been fully understood and met
