Orphan and Widow Care 2.03

Orphan and Widow Care Initiatives for Africa (OWCIA) is an intervention to alleviate the suffering of women and children of all ages in refugee camps in Ghana and Liberia. It is non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and entirely humanitarian.
The co-founders of this non-profit organisation are former refugees who suffered in camps just like their fellow refugees in Ghana. They know what it is like to have no food, water and shelter.
Our goal is to come together with all relevant leaders in refugee camps in Ghana, Liberia and Africa and other women’s and children’s human rights supporters around the world, To fast track sustainable development by creating opportunities for women and children in the above mentioned places, Especially those in difficult social situations, and to achieve all it takes to give meaning to their lives as a matter of their fundamental Human Rights.
