As a remedial therapist I practice different techniques with the aim of making you feel better in your own body, feel happier because you are pain free and more aware of how you can help yourself.

Structural Integration is the latest and yet most challenging string that has been added to the bow of techniques I use. Based on the pioneering work of Dr Ida P Rolf the treatments are taken as a series. As a student of Anatomy Trains our series is done over 12 sessions that each works through a specific line of myofascia continuum with the effect of bringing you into a more central alignment. This has the benefit of moving with more ease, having less chronic pain and more energy.

Remedial Massage is often used to eleviate sore muscles from over work or stress (from emotional or physical overload). Christie uses a variety of soft tissue manipulation techniques to ease the tension and address any posture imbalances.

Bowen Therapy utilises small moves over the skin to initiate the bodies own inate correction abilities. Corrections are often observed throughout the treatment or can take a few hours to be noticed by the client.
