The Club was formed in the 1890’s and built the original golf course. It was formally incorporated as the North Adelaide Golf Club in 1904.

It later partnered with the Adelaide City Council to establish an 18-hole South Course with Council as the landholder and the Club as lease-holder. In the 1960s the 18-hole North Course was added to the complex.

NAGC is acknowledged as the oldest golf club in Australia still using its original site.

It was one of the first clubs to change its constitution to abolish ‘Associate’ membership and have men and women as equal full members.

The Club was also amongst the first to introduce ladies competition golf on a Saturday.

We pride ourselves on being one of the most friendly and accommodating clubs in Adelaide and enjoy a relaxed social atmosphere in the clubrooms on competition days.

NAGC conducts competitions for Men and Women on the following days:

Women: Thursday and Saturday
Men: Tuesday (am), Wednesday (pm), Thursday (am) and Saturday
Mixed: One Sunday every month
