Noisy Ritual People-Powered Urban Winery 4.75

Noisy Ritual is Melbourne’s first interactive urban winery. We’re out to demystify the winemaking process and have a heap of fun doing it. It’s about bringing good people together over great wine, food and music to learn about, taste and create wine in an urban environment.

To bring the winemaking experience to the most people possible, we've created an urban winery where you get to make the wine. Through a series of events we guide members through the process from grape to glass. Surrounded by likeminded folk, you’ll stomp the grapes, press the wine and bottle it – all in a relaxed, inclusive and fun environment. With Noisy Ritual it’s all about basking in the glory of wine, minus the bullshit.

2015
In Autumn 2015 we undertook Noisy Ritual's first proper vintage in a pop-up space in Preston. Nearly 100 members had a tonne of fun making 6 batches of wine that went on to be released as Noisy Ritual’s 2015 range. The membership experience concluded at our Bottling Party in November where we bottled our 2015 wines and celebrated the end of our first year with a big ol' knees up. So much fun.

2016
Another super fun vintage with our Noisy Ritual members is done and dusted, and we've got 6 wines resting patiently in barrels. Our members will come together again in November to get it all into bottles!

We've just opened the doors of our new permanent home in Brunswick East. It's a haven for people interested in wine, winemaking, food and music.
