Under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), NEC ensures the quality and consistency of its resources also responding to the Vocational Education, Training and Employment (VET) Act 2000 and Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000.

New England College is also registered under the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) and collaborates with education agencies around the world to provide services to overseas students wanting to study in Australia.
