I know exactly where you need to start to achieve your weight goals while meeting your nutritional needs.
I have spent over 25 years as a Dietitian and I’ve seen all the latest trends come and go.
Having freedom over hunger is important to me because I battled an eating disorder in my youth.
I had 4 children in 5 years in my thirties and had to work hard to maintain my weight.
Then, at 40, a dear friend died of breast cancer. The shock lead me to believe a raw food, vegan diet would keep cancer at bay.
Hunger became my constant companion.
But, breast cancer stopped me in my tracks, at 48.
I had worked so hard to be healthy and avoid anything that could ‘cause cancer’ that it was almost a betrayal to get the diagnosis.
It was the most emotionally intense period of my life.
I was fortunate it was discovered early and chose a mastectomy to avoid radiation and chemotherapy.
In hindsight, cancer was a grateful awakening.
But, life is never the same after you have faced your own mortality.
I have a deeper appreciation for life and relationships and I don’t let little issues get me down or in my way.
My biggest realisation after cancer came when I changed my diet again and the constant hunger disappeared. Along with it went the abdominal pain, bloating and cravings!
My relationship with food changed after cancer when I changed my diet again, and the constant hunger disappeared. Along with it went the abdominal pain, bloating, and cravings.
I am no longer controlled by food and hunger, and my work and purpose is to pass that gift of freedom on to women like you.
