The Museum of the Circus intends to be one of the leading circus museums in Australia. We aim to do this through realistic experiences, ideas of transportation, interactive activity, as well as permanent and exclusive content and collections. Further, we aim to continually gain a realistic experience of a travelling circus.

The circus was one of the most iconic symbols for entertainment in the 19th Century, and became globally well known for its attractions such as freak shows, sideshows and acrobats. We aim to realise and recognise this time period through its most realistic form and structure, allowing our visitors to gain an amazing experience in the process.
