Visit Guildford's world-class
Museum of Natural History
You will never forget your visit to this world-class display of hundreds of Australia's native animals, birds, fish and reptiles, all in a one-stop shop in the heart of Guildford.
Experience the feel of the Australian bush as you wander amongst the kangaroos, emus, sharks, snakes, and dinosaurs - yes, dinosaurs - all beautifully presented by Master Taxidermist, Michael Buzza.
The Museum of Natural History is one of Guildford's landmark tourist spots.
The hundreds of exhibits have been patiently, and expertly, reproduced by Michael Buzza through his association with several official sites, including the Department of Parks and Wildlife, who contract Michael to help protect and conserve the State's natural environment.
Guildford's Museum of Natural History is just a five minute walk from Guildford Station. It is a great venue for children to experience Australia's natural fauna, or inspect the life-size models of dinosaurs, all housed in the heritage listed former Regent Theatre.
Mums, dads, children of all ages, and tourists from around the world, enjoy this amazing galaxy of Australiana on display.
Testament to the outstanding work are the growing number of educational institutions, private sector companies, and member of the general public booking the venue for a learning experience, to host staff business lunches with a difference, or to use as a wedding venue, birthday get-together, or to film and video for commercial use.
For 40 years the Museum of Natural History has added a vibrant, exciting touch to Guildford's recreational and tourist landscape. Don't miss it!
