Our Goal
We are committed to the delivery of a sound educational foundation for every child through a range of high quality children’s programs. We will actively promote school readiness and achievement of desired learning outcomes.

ABOUT MILDURA EARLY LEARNING CENTRE
We offer care from birth to 6 years of age including a kindergarten program. Educating and caring for young children is a highly specialized role requiring a unique combination of qualifications, experience and a passion for enriching children’s lives. We recognise children as individuals, and focus on their own interests and strengths.

We are a government recognised long day care centre and therefore families are entitled to receive the CCB and Child Care Tax Rebate.

OUR EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
We aim to create a friendly, secure place for children, where their independence and individuality is valued. We strive to meet the individual needs of each child to enable them to reach their full potential by providing a learning environment which offers a stimulating child centered program.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
The early years are a special time in a child’s life; an exciting period of discovery and learning. We have a strong play-based learning philosophy and our qualified early childhood Educators create programs based on current research and practices, plus decades of experience.
Our programs reflect the Early Years Learning Framework and are designed to give the children a wide range of active and meaningful experiences, building on the children’s own strengths and interests.
This helps develop relationships, social skills and tolerance of others and their environment.
All children are viewed as individuals whilst learning to interact positively within a group.

For those children who are approaching school age, we place strong emphasis on programs which challenge and extend their ability and confidence, aiding the transition to school.

Our program is based on the principles of respect, responsibility and community through exploration and discovery in a supportive and enriching environment based on the interests of the children through a self guided curriculum.

OUR TEAM
At Mildura Early Learning Centre we believe that our Educators are very valuable. We pride ourselves on having caring, professional and knowledgeable Educators to teach your children.
Group Leader Educators are responsible for each of the classrooms and hold Diploma’s of Early Childhood Education. Assistant Educators hold Certificates of Early Childhood. All Educators hold First Aid and Anaphylaxis Certificates and also Working with Children Checks are completed.
