Situated in a leafy Sandy Bay lane, Mellowtrees is built within an architect designed 1950s house. The house featured on the cover of Home Beautiful magazine in 1951 and many of its original features have been retained within the apartment.

The new kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances so preparing a meal is easy. A Nespresso coffee machine is supplied so you can enjoy your favourite brew. The sitting/dining room is stylish with a comfy sofa and rocking chair and is warmed by a glowing gas fire. The bedroom looks onto the garden and the original 50s dressing table and wardrobe have cute drawers for your socks and things. Quality white bed linen and electric blanket make for a restful night’s sleep.

The luxury bathroom has a mosaic-tiled floor, original pedestal basin, a bath for serious wallowing, separate shower, fluffy towels and sweet smelling toiletries.

Outdoor chairs allow you to enjoy the birdsong while having morning coffee or a glass of Tasmanian wine. Free Tasmanian ingredients are supplied for your first breakfast.
