Jews have forever been people of the book, not just 'the book' but every kind of book. Always literate, Jewish hunger for the written word is legendary. Now in a new literary event, Melbourne celebrates books and writing by and about Jews.
Festival guests include celebrated international authors, Americans Dara Horn (A Guide for the Perplexed), Matthue Roth (My First Kafka) and Israeli Zeruya Shalev (The Remains of Love). Melbourne’s own Peter and Renata Singer will also be in town to discuss their jointly written “The Moral of the Story”.
We invite you to come to this exciting new festival of books, writing and ideas; to be moved, excited and entertained.
