The Mackay Hospital Foundation is a local, independent, community driven not-for-profit charity undertaking fundraising and using donations to support the Mackay Base Hospital and all other public hospitals in the Mackay Hospital & Health Service district.

Government funding provides essential health services but it cannot pay for everything. The Foundation’s role is to fill the gap; to provide those extras and support our regions public hospitals.
