Little Groovers Dance School 2.55

Little Groovers is a fun preschool dance school for girls and boys with classes being taught in Jamberoo and Windang. The Dance school has been set up by Nicole Rodgers, a tertiary qualified dance teacher who has many years’ experience teaching dance to children of all ages as well as many years’ experience teaching in preschools and Kindergarten around the world.
At Little Groovers we aim to teach the fundamentals of ballet and dance but our main emphasis is on having fun and letting your child develop at their own pace in a creative and supporting environment. Most dance schools focus on exams, eisteddfods and concerts which are great for older children striving to achieve perfect technique and results, but what happens to the little ones? Noticing that at times they can be left behind and put last when it comes to planning I decided to use my own expertise in both dance and early childhood education to create a dance programme that focuses on just the little ones and developed Little Groovers.
The Little Groovers dance programme incorporates dance, song, music, creativity, imagination but most importantly fun! Our classes run for 45 mins duration as we feel any shorter a time is just not long enough, because by the time we get started we will have to finish and that means we miss out on all the fun. Each class strives to enhance your child’s co-ordination, gross motor skills, rhythm, spatial awareness and musicality. Your child will also develop listening skills, learn how to follow directions and learn how to work together as a group with the rest of the Little Groovers within the class.
Each class is accompanied by beautiful music and wonderful dance props that will engage your child right from the start of the dance lesson and leave them excited and eager for their next dance class.
