The Little Desert Nature lodge is owned and operated by Australia’s leading not for profit conservation organisation – Conservation Volunteers. Bordering Little Desert National Park, the Lodge conserves over 117 hectares of Mallee habitat and wildlife, including the endangered Malleefowl.

The Lodge is perfect for travellers seeking a holiday surrounded by nature and wildlife, especially those with a love of birdwatching, bushwalking, conservation and stunning Landscapes. With over 220 species of birds, the Little Desert National Park is rapidly becoming one of Victoria’s favourite bird watching and wildlife hot spots!

This natural attraction offers various accommodation options from ensuite rooms to powered campsites, licensed restaurant (available for functions only), in room meals can be provided on request and only if ordered before 3pm on day required, conference and function facilities, guided tours with a local experienced guide, self-guided activities and educational programs.

For schools, we provide Environmental Education programs with professionally structured, hands-on study which can be tailored to suit any age group. With a dedicated Resource Centre and Worksheets your students will get the most from their experience. The Recreation room and large outdoor area caters for any sports and activities, and the restaurant will provide home-style, nutritious meals for your students and staff.
