Lismore Art Space is a recently renovated two story warehouse space in Lismore that has been custom designed with artists & creative industries in mind. Large light filled areas, communal spaces, outdoor work areas and gardens with dedicated printmaking studios.
Renovated and set up by local photographer, Ted Harvey, LAS is a large art space with five separate studios, garden and communal areas in which to work.
Full time operation of the art space began in 2010 by Joanna Kambourian, who, as a result of a successful Australia Council for the Arts ArtStart grant, was able to take on the full time management of the space. L.A.S has since hosted a number of local artists, creatives, events, exhibitions, performance and photoshoots.
The vision is to provide a specialist studio environment for printmaking and print based projects as well as for artists & creatives wishing to explore print and printmaking processes. We have a strong focus on supporting emerging artists through exhibitions, workshops, residencies and mentoring.
