Hey my name is Daniel Smith, I am one of the Personal Trainers at Anytime Fitness Munno Para West. I have become a personal trainer because I want to help people change their lives and improve their health and fitness. Whether it be by losing weight, building muscle or working on their overall fitness.
A bit about me.
I have myself lost weight, at my heaviest I weighed in at 140kg. I was shocked to see that number come up on the scales and I had to do something about it.
I then joined up at Anytime Fitness Munno Para back in 2012, organised to start seeing a Personal Trainer once a week to help me reach my health and fitness goals.
For a while I did not see any change in my appearance, change on the scales or any muscle development, it’s only recently have I noticed change in my body and muscle development.
At the start of January 2016 I set myself a challenge to lose 20kgs in 20weeks, BIG ASK. Throughout the challenge there was lots of small setbacks such as a grade 1+ tear in my right quad, hip being out of place and 4 weeks of Plateau. I finished the challenge in May 2016 having lost 15.7kgs in the 20 weeks and being under 100kgs for the first time in over 10 years.
I now weigh 95kgs having lost 45kgs so far from when I started back in 2012 and am wanting to help other people reach the same health and fitness goals.
