We like to hear from you on social media but will remove posts, comments or other content that sells or promotes third party products and services; is defamatory, derogatory or discriminatory; includes confidential or proprietary information; is not directly related to university business; or condones or encourages unsavoury or illegal behaviour.

Each QUT official account has a team of Administrators, who are responsible for moderating content posted by visitors. Administrators will remove content which contravenes this policy, however visitors to our social media places should keep in mind that content posted by others may not reflect the opinions or policies of the University.

You should never reveal any personal information on third-party and public social media. This includes your email address, student number, phone number or address.
