Eyelash extensions is a practice that enhances the length, thickness and fullness of your natural eyelashes.

They come in a range of different lengths, thickness's and even colours. Many different looks can be achieved to suit the individual. Everyone has different eye shapes and eyelashes so it really does have to be customized to the individual person.

Our own eyelashes grow on average from 7mm to 9mm in length and are located in 3 to 5 rows. The average span of a natural lash is 45 to 90 days, the natural eyelash grows for 30 days, rests and then begins the cycle again before falling out.

The number of eyelashes on each lid ranges widely and usually accommodates approximately 150-200 hairs.

A healthy lifestyle with result in faster growth of your eyelashes. The speed of growth is also impacted by the age of the individual. You lose more lashes as you get older. All in all, an eyelash takes approximately 12 weeks to re-grow after it has fallen out.

While it is hard to keep track of exactly how many lashes we lose each day, generally it is estimated to be between 1 and 4 which is considered normal.

Eyelash extensions are a fabulous thing and with proper care given will absolutely enhance your eyes and save time getting ready as no mascara is needed.

To be low maintenance (beauty wise) sometimes we have to do a few high maintenance things!
