La Trobe University Linguistics Society 2.37

The La Trobe University Linguistics Society aims to provide students and staff of Linguistics an opportunity to develop relationships outside of the classroom in a social and friendly environment. We aim to not only provide students and staff with a more relaxed avenue for discussing linguistic material, but give students an opportunity to meet fellow students outside of their allocated tutorial class and the ability to meet students who have been studying in the years above them. By developing friendships with our peers, the Society aims to enrich the experience of Linguistics students and staff alike. We aim to have a mix of regular, more informal sessions on a weekly to fortnightly basis, and also have a few bigger, more exciting events throughout the University year.
