Known World Book Shop 3.08

The Known World Book Shop started life as Buninyong Books in 2001 in a little township near the historic former gold-mining city of Ballarat. In 2008, the bookshop's founder, Michelle, moved the shop to Ballarat in its new incarnation as The Known World Bookshop. Located in Ballarat's main boulevard, Sturt St, the bookshop has a fascinating and eclectic collection of quality second hand books. There is also an Art Deco-inspired coffee shop. Upstairs is the Known World Boutique City Apartment, furnished with stunning mid-century design classics and within walking distance of the Art Gallery, Her Majesty's Theatre, the main shopping precinct and Ballarat's bars and restaurants.
