My Name is Michael Petersen and I have created this site to introduce you to my photographic art.
I was born in Cairns, have travelled the world and I am a fifth generation Australian living on the Atherton Tableland.

I work as a commercial photographer.

The fine art photographs you see on this site have been captured over the last ten years mostly on the Atherton Tableland in Far North Queensland and represent my unique and personal photographic vision of our Australian landscape.

All my images are created using the very latest digital technology to produce the very finest pieces of photographic art.
Each one is individually designed and assembled using museum quality tools and technology to provide you photographic landscape impressions presented in the most elegant way.

I also offer photographic tours taking a minimum of 2 people to different locations, such as the very popular Sunrise Tour that start early in the morning to capture the atmosphere of the mystical Tableland light.
