- early speech and language development
- eating and drinking difficulties
- speech sound (articulation) difficulties
- expressive language difficulties
- receptive language (comprehension) difficulties
- social skill development
- literacy

Yvette Theodorsen, certified practising speech pathologist and founder of Interactive Speech Pathology, specialises in Augmentative and Alternative Communication. She has worked in the disability field for over 10 years and continues to increase her skills and knowledge of developments in this area through ongoing quality professional development, attending interstate and international conferences and training to deliver 'best practice' intervention in Western Australia. Yvette is most passionate about providing communication access for all.

Yvette has worked in programmes that provide holistic intervention and understands the importance of considering the needs of the 'whole person' to optimise speech, language and communication development. She always seeks to 'interact' with families, educators and other significant people in the lives of her clients to ensure her strategies and methods are the best fit for each situation.

Sessions at Interactive Speech Pathology are provided at the Kulungah-Myah Family Centre in Kardinya, Western Australia. School, home and community visits are also available, depending on individual circumstances. We also provide group sessions and training for schools and community organisations.

Interactive Speech Pathology is a provider of services for the Better Start Initiative (http://www.betterstart.net.au/).

We can also provide communication therapy support for children who are eligible for post intervention therapy services (PITS) after receiving services through the Paediatric Intensive Rehabilitation Unit (iRehab) at Princess Margaret Hospital.
