IL MULINO meaning ‘a mill’ is a bakery that also offers quality catering and hospitality services in Adelaide and South Australia. Italian born owner and Head Chef, Marco De Angelis founded the business in 2015 when he realised his knowledge and lifelong passion for food and culinary art could be used to assist people in creating their perfect event.

Marco was born into a restaurateur family in Rome where he began to develop his initial skills in the kitchen at age 13. He then went on to co-own a business called Agriturismo, a holiday farm that used fresh, local produce in all of its dishes.

He now has more than 20 years of experience in a number of different roles in both Italy and Australia from amateur cook to Head Chef in a 5-star restaurant, specialising in Italian and intercontinental cuisine. All dishes prepared by IL MULINO embrace Marco’s Italian heritage and reflect his many years of experience.

Marco is an enthusiastic, conscientious and highly motivated individual with multidisciplinary skills such as creating authentic buffets, antipasti, pastas, main courses, pizzas, bread, cakes and desserts with minimal assistance. Marco’s complimentary signature fruit carving artistry makes his work stand out from the crowd as well as adding a natural splash of colour to an event.
