Alternative Shamanistic healing techniques, combined with Western teachings, provide an holistic process for self-healing, balance, development and life enrichment.

Shamanism is an ancient system of self-healing... the simplicity and joy of the ancient wisdom from the peoples of the Andes of Peru. Benefits of Muriel's services include include expanding an awareness of self, and exploring core patterns as a basis for transformation.

Tours of Peru and Bolivia, South America, offer a variety of different experiences - the landscapes of cities, rural settings, sacred sites [Macchu Picchu and many more], the Andes Mountains, Lake Titicaca; and great cultural experiences, the people, their lifestyles, arts and crafts, and spirituality. The tours will also include healing ceremonies with genuine Curanderos, Vegetalistas or Ayahuasceros and are for people who are serious about reconnecting with their spiritual essence.

In more recent years people from Western cultures have begun to seek physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual healing, using ancient ceremonies and rituals, in a timeless place and setting. The brews used by traditional healers are ancient plant medicines that have been used for many centuries throughout South America, to cleanse and expand one’s awareness to deeper realms of emotion and ancestry. They are specifically prepared by well trained and experienced Curanderos or Vegatalistas and the Ayahuasca and San Pedro experiences impact on everyone differently.

About Muriel Turner:

Muriel is the sole trader of Huachuma Consultancy. She was born in Sydney, Australia, and since the mid 1990’s has travelled extensively with, and been trained by a Shaman and Ceremonial Leader of the Huachuma Tradition of Shamanism in the Andes of northern Peru.

Since that time, Muriel has travelled and trained with other Shamans and Ayahuasceros and has attended several conferences in Peru, where international speakers presented their research and findings on the healing benefits of traditional medicines [such as Ayahuasca and San Pedro]. The healing plants have played important roles across history and cross-culturally, and are generally used for spiritual, physical, emotional and psychological healing experiences.

With a degree in Psychology, Muriel has worked in government and non-government mental health and employment services, is a long standing Affiliate Member of the Australian Psychological Society [APS], and has gained permission to be a healer and conduct workshops, retreats and ceremonies in the West. She has not only been working as a Healer and Counsellor in Western Sydney for many years, she has carried out workshops and retreats, and has taken many people to Peru and Bolivia.

Muriel moved to Ulladulla in 2017 and continues her work with workshops, retreats and private healings.
