We started our business Hikari Candles because of our love of candles. We wanted to share this love with others by creating our own quality candles, made right here in Perth, Western Australia.

We named our business Hikari as Zarin was raised in Japan and when we were searching for a name that would capture our love of candles we both resonated to “Light”. Hikari means light in Japanese and it is our wish and hope that our products will bring light to the homes and the lives of others. To us light symbolises celebration, love, joy, happiness, healing, harmony and gratitude.

We believe every occasion is made even more special with the magic of candlelight

In our homes we light candles daily for various reasons whether it be to set a particular mood, for mediation, to enhance our healing work or to create a general ambience of peace and calm. We wish to share our love of candles with others while at the same time doing something we love.
As our business id growing our love and fascination for candles continues to grow also.
