The Heavenly Spa Retreat is a private home upstairs and a recently refurbished one bedroom self-contained garden studio apartment with a large outdoor courtyard and its own private entrance downstairs. Exclusive use of the garden, BBQ and spa area is provided. It was opened in August 2007 and recently refurbished under new management.
It is surrounded by gum trees and is a favourite visiting place for native birds and kookaburras. There is a large private outdoor deck for lounging around the spa in a delightful native tropical garden with pond and waterfall as well as a BBQ area for outdoor dining.
The modern studio has a luxurious queen-size bed, a mosaic tiled en-suite, lounge and dining area. The bed with a doona cover, is of hotel quality to ensure your comfort.

The kitchen has a microwave, fridge and large pantry with all your kitchen and picnic needs. There is a reverse cycle air-conditioner, TV, DVD player and a small reading library with DVD's. Use of a washing machine and drier is also available.
The studio has its own private outdoor dining and paved courtyard area. A separate outdoor dining area has a large gas BBQ supplied with all your BBQ needs.

A HYDROTHERAPY SPA TO SOAK IN
The therapy spa with its own waterfall is sunken into a garden deck under a Japanese-style pagoda. You will never experience a spa like it! Truly, the Rolls Royce of spas. your choice of ten different coloured lights is pure magic at night under the stars or enjoy an optic light show while you get a complete spa workout. There is no better way to bliss out, relax, repair your body and feel uplifted.

A GREAT LOCATION NEAR NATURE WALKS AND BEACHES

Relax and soothe those sore muscles in the spa after a gorgeous bushwalk from Crackneck Lookout, a five minute walk away in the Wyrrabalong National Park. From there, you can walk north to Bateau Bay Beach for a swim and sunbake (a five minute walk) or south to Forresters Beach for a coastal walk with beautiful views over the ocean.
There is Spectacular Ocean and coastal panoramas and the walking tracks have boardwalks and timber steps with railings and seats at viewing spots. Crackneck and Shelley Beach are also top surfing spots.
Crackneck Lookout is one of the best whale watching locations on the Central Coast in the winter months so bring your binoculars to catch a glimpse of these wonderful humpback whales migrating north to breed and give birth in the warmer tropical waters.
A complimentary bottle of Champagne and a small box of chocolates, incense and an aromatherapy candle is provided for a romantic night in.
Fluffy white bathrobes and spa towels are provided for the spa. All linen and towels are included.

BEACHES

Bateau Bay Beach, a ten minute walk away is a beautiful, quiet and secluded protected swimming beach within the Wyrrabalong National Park. The beach has low tide rockpools and is excellent for swimming, sunbaking, fishing and snorkelling. Shellley Beach is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away.
GOLF
The Tuggerah Lakes Golf Course at Bateau Bay is 5 minutes’ drive away and offers probably the best ocean views of any golf course in Australia. It is situated on Shelley Beach, famous for hosting surfing titles, a 4km stretch of golden sand between rockpools.
BOWLING AND OTHER SPORTS CLUBS
Bateau Bay also has a world-class bowling and croquet club which welcomes visitors as well as a numerous clubs within walking distance with free courtesy buses.

Mingara Recreation Club is 10 minute’s drive away with an Olympic pool and Water Park, gym and a range of restaurants.

THE ENTRANCE

The Entrance is a 10 minute drive north where you can hire a small boat to fish on the lake, see a movie, enjoy one of the many seafood restaurants or watch the feeding of the Pelicans at 3.30pm every day.

TERRIGAL

Terrigal is a 10 minute drive south where you can indulge yourself at one of the many fine dining restaurants and cafes, stroll the beach promenade or walk up and catch the stunning view at the Skillion.
SHOPPING
Shopping is well catered for with the Erina Fair and Westfield Tuggerah Shopping Centres and the Homemakers and Discount Supa-Centre at Tuggerah, all within 15 minutes’ drive. Bay Village Shopping Centre is 5 minutes away and has 3 supermarkets, Kmart, cafes and an excellent variety of retail shops.
Erina Fair, one of the largest shopping centres in the southern hemisphere, acts as a community focal point and offers the largest range of retail stores in the region, an ice skating rink and an 8 cinema movie complex as well as a large range of restaurants and cafes.

BUS ROUTES

The Retreat is also close to regular bus routes to The Entrance and Gosford .
HUNTER VALLEY WINERIES
An hour and a half away is the beautiful Hunter Valley wineries, historic villages such as Morpeth and the city of Newcastle.

CRUISES AND ART GALLERIES

Even closer are major attractions such as Brisbane Waters cruises on the Lady Kendall II which leave from Gosford Wharf, the Reptile Park at Somersby and the Ettalong ferry which visits Palm Beach. Pearl Beach with its quaint village atmosphere and famous restaurant and the historic Avoca Beach Theatre in Avoca are just over half an hour away.
The Gosford Regional Art Gallery and Japanese garden is also worth a visit to feed the Koi fish as are the Ken Duncan and Neil Joseph Art Galleries, boutique shops in East Gosford and all the wonderful nurseries including the Wildflower Place in Erina Heights.
