Havenview Primary School 3.15

Havenview Primary School has a warm and positive atmosphere, and is situated in a beautiful park-like setting five minutes' drive south-east of the Burnie CBD.

We are an inviting and inclusive school committed to providing high quality teaching and learning, whilst giving students' opportunity to develop resilience and strong personal qualities based on our school values.

The school values focus on respect, doing our best, being positive learners, and acting safely and responsibly.

Havenview has a current population of around 130 students in Kinder to Grade 6.

Students are encouraged to be thinkers, communicators, researchers, collaborators and self-managers through an inquiry based approach.

In addition to the core learning areas we offer a range of programs such as Flying Start, Literacy Support, Billies, Playgroup, Art, Music and Health and Physical Education, Gardening, Cooking, Water Awareness, Learn to Swim programs and Breakfast Club.

We strive to build quality relationships within our community which gives students, staff and families the foundation and motivation to continue to strive for excellence and to ensure that everyone at Havenview Primary School feels safe, happy and motivated to learn.
