Harrison’s Little Wings Inc. is a not for profit organisation who provide practical support to families who have been diagnosed with a high risk pregnancy. We support those families who have the uncertainty of not knowing whether their baby will survive pregnancy. we offer practical support and peer support. programs

We believe each family is unique and each family has a different need, we try and support each family where needed. We believes by supporting the family with practical services helps a family focus on what is important and that is the health (physically, emotionally and mentally) of Mother and baby.

Harrison's Little Wings Inc provides Peer Support programs for our women, these are currently located at Logan Central (siblings are welcome) and Browns Plains. Having a High Risk Pregnancy can be extremely isolating, it can make a women feel alone and feel as though she isn't understood. By providing a Peer Support Program we are giving women an opportunity to meet other women who have a similar journey and support network of other mothers. The Founder and President of Harrison's Little Wings Inc, Melanie McKenzie is extremely passionate about creating change within the Health system. Melanie consults on many state wide boards as a consumer and many local projects.

Additional to our Support High Risk Families we provide scrapbook albums to the Mater NICU to those families who tragically lose their baby in the NICU. This gives families a very special keepsake and a way to display they babies images.
