Habitat For Humanity Victoria Australia 3.24

A house is more than bricks and mortar. A stable, secure home creates the foundation for change. It gives families the opportunity to be healthier, happier and more secure and for children to be better nourished and better educated. Home ownership helps families today and future generations build a future with real hope.

At the end of 2016 Habitat for Humanity Victoria had successfully helped 55 families in their journey to home ownership with “a hand up; not a hand out”. Our goal is to have built 60 homes by mid-2017 and to have completed 100 homes by 2020.

ReStore is a fundraising venture of Habitat for Humanity, selling donated goods to the general public to help fund the construction of Habitat homes in Victoria. ReStore sells home improvement products, furniture, home accessories, building materials, work clothing, tools and much more.

As a Not For Profit Habitat for Humanity Victoria relies on the support of generous volunteers and sponsors to help make these homes a reality for people in need. We have wonderful corporate and individual partners that make our mission a reality.
