The Glycemic Foundation (GIF) is a not-for-profit health promotion charity whose mission is to raise awareness and understanding of the health benefits of diets preferring low glycemic index (GI) carbohydrates. The key area of focus is on those living with Diabetes (improving management of the disease) and people at risk of Diabetes (improving health and reducing the rate of progression to Diabetes).
