GiGi Instyle’s owner Rajna Jollie has 30 years of experience as a professional hair and makeup artist.

She has devoted her time through-out her career to deliver her professional and expert advice on trending styles in a salon environment on cutting, colouring, extensions, bridal/special occasion fashions and make-up.

Rajna also freelances on other professional platforms such as the film and photographic industry.

And has been employed by major brands to promote their products through education in the hairdressing industry.

Gigi Instyle supports two major charities:

Treasure Chest Charity www.treasurechestcharity.com.au

of which Rajna is on the committee.

About The Treasure Chest Foundation
The Treasure Chest Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit organisation. We raise funds to assist hospitals to increase their capacity for breast reconstructions. Currently a woman who has her breasts removed because she has cancer or has a genetic risk of developing breast cancer has a considerable wait until she can have a breast reconstruction.
Breast reconstruction in the public health system is a very low priority. Currently, Treasure Chest is working with Professor Bruce Mann Director of Shared Breast Service as well as Specialist Breast Surgeon & Surgical Oncologist with Assoc Professor Mark Ashton Head of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital to increase capacity in the Shared Breast Service of the Royal Women’s and Royal Melbourne Hospitals.
Your generosity will help us improve access to breast reconstruction and make a huge difference to someone’s life.

Alannah and Madeline Foundation.
And since the charity began 1997 and 13 years in Rajna worked on The Alannah and Madeline Foundation major event:
Starry Starry night as the head coordinator for hair and make-up in the green room for all the celebrities before and after they hit the stage to perform.
(a bit about the foundation below)

The Alannah and Madeline Foundation is a national charity protecting children from violence and its devastating impact.

The Foundation was set up in memory of Alannah and Madeline Mikac, aged six and three, who were tragically killed with their mother and 32 others at Port Arthur, Tasmania on 28 April 1996.

We care for children who have experienced or witnessed serious violence. We also run programs that prevent violence and advocate for children's safety and wellbeing.

Our vision is that every child will live in a safe and supportive environment.https://www.amf.org.au/

Rajna: "My greatest moment working on Starry Starry night was the year Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederick of Denmark attended as international patrons of the foundation. To be so close and in the same room as them was an incredible moment I will never forget. All our celebrities that night were star struck indeed!"

Another Pro-Bono project Rajna gives her time to is the New York based performing arts company Shen Yun.
Every year Shen Yun will tour Australia and will perform in all major cities. Melbourne is where Rajna supports the company with her marketing skills and works tirelessly for a full house outcome!
Shen Yun have been coming to Melbourne for 9 years and return every year with a new ensemble of dance, costumes and the new musical scores composed by its own touring orchestra.
(a bit about the company)

REVIVING 5,000 YEARS OF CIVILIZATION
THROUGH THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE of music and dance,
Shen Yun weaves a wondrous tapestry of heavenly realms, ancient legends, and modern heroic tales, taking you on a journey through 5,000 years of Chinese culture. Its stunning beauty and tremendous energy leave audiences uplifted and inspired.

A Shen Yun performance features the world’s foremost classically trained dancers, a unique orchestra blending East and West, and dazzling animated backdrops—together creating one spectacular performance.

BASED IN NEW YORK, SHEN YUN PERFORMING ARTS was established by Falun Dafa practitioners in 2006. The company’s mission is to use performing arts to revive the essence of Chinese culture—traditionally considered a divinely inspired civilization. Since the CCP is officially an atheist regime, it is afraid of the freedom of expression this arts company enjoys in the West.

Rajna: "I believe that no one has the right to dictate art and to take away the essence of culture where its art has been founded cultivated and passed down from generation to generation. It pleases me greatly to donate my time to such a worthy cause and its divine faith." "I also practise this beautiful qi gong practice called Falun Gong or also known as Falun Dafa." https://www.falundafa.org/

Currently: Rajna is now blazing her path into the world of chemical free and cruelty free and certified organic products used for hair and skin and health and well being.

Rajna: "If I can share what I have learn't and discovered about what we put in and on our bodies, I hope that it may change a persons life or even just improved their well being."
"That's when I feel I have the right to say that all the research i have done has not been in vain."

Rajna: "They say that knowledge is one powerful tool, however choice gives it the strength to command change! Of which I feel is even more powerful!"

Thank you taking the time to read this and we at Gigi Instyle look forward to connecting with you soon.

Cheers,
