FotoFinder Australia are the official Australian distributor for all FotoFinder products. We look after all issues in Australia; new sales, upgrading of existing machines, and service issues. We also provide service and maintenance contracts for existing users.

This is the German company that owns FotoFinder. The FotoFinder story started at the beginning of the 1990’s when multimedia gained importance. During that time, Rolf and Andreas Mayer, father & son and FotoFinder’s managing directors (in those times the company was still called TeachScreen Software GmbH), saw potential opportunities in digitizing video data and creating digital image databases. The FotoFinder imaging database was born. At first it came to be used by industrial companies.

The next step into the medical field started only a few years later when Rolf Mayer met an influential dermatology professor. It was obvious that an imaging system to monitor moles would highly improve skin cancer diagnostics: The FotoFinder imaging database was quickly extended by a video camera, a special optic for microscopic imaging, and finally a computer system. The FotoFinder dermoscope was born.
