From the first day the first edition rolled out more than 53 years ago, The Fairfield Advance has been an integral part of community life.

It is available in print and digital formats. It is the leading source of news and information, as well as a voice for the people. Local is at the heart of everything we do.

HOUSE RULES

The Fairfield Advance reserves the right to delete, remove content and block users on our page if interactions are:

• Threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, indecent or inflammatory

• Unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading

• Sends users to external websites that may include information that cannot be verified

• Trolls: Bulling, personal attacks and nasty comments. Comments that are disrespectful to our community members will not be tolerated. Be respectful of other community member’s feelings and opinions.

• Spam: Our Facebook page is not intended for the promotion of third-party companies. Do not post content that would constitute advertising, junk mail, spam, chain letters or any other form of unauthorised solicitation. If in doubt do not post on our Facebook page, simply send a private Facebook email to the editor.

While we do our very best to moderate the community, The Fairfield Advance does not take responsibility for fan postings or discussions that have not been posted by our team. However, we do reserve the right to remove offensive or harmful posts and ban individuals from accessing the page.
