Elder Matters 2.15

Elder Matters provides both counselling and consulting services to support and provide insight to individual clients and organisations.

Counselling services are available for:

1. People experiencing the diverse challenges of ageing, including: loss, grief and bereavement, family conflict, elder care responsibilities, health and capacity challenges, loneliness and isolation, carer stress, transition to residential care, and elder abuse.

2. Individuals and their families living with dementia (including younger onset dementia) and/or other health and capacity challenges.

3. Residents of aged care facilities and/or their families, including those contemplating or experiencing a transition to retirement.

Consulting services include:

- education programs for aged care and allied health professionals;
- employee assistance services (staff counselling);
- programs to support life transitions.
